Finance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager with a strong background in the construction industry and experience in KSA. The ideal candidate will oversee financial reporting, job costing, VAT compliance, and project accounting while ensuring adherence to Saudi accounting standards, tax regulations, and local laws.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting:
   Ensure compliance with IFRS, and Saudi Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) regulations.
   Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including audit preparations.
   Maintain Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports and ensure accurate project cost allocation.
2. Construction Job Costing & Budgeting:
   Monitor job costing, cost control, and budget tracking for construction projects.
   Work closely with project managers to review cost projections and variance analysis.
   Ensure proper tracking of materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable:
   Oversee billing, invoicing, and progress payments for contractors and clients.
   Handle subcontractor payment approvals, retention payments, and reconciliation.
   Ensure accurate tracking of accounts payable and receivable for multiple projects.
4. Tax Compliance & Payroll:
   Manage KSA VAT (Value Added Tax), Withholding Tax (WHT) filing.
   Oversee payroll processing, including GOSI (General Organization for Social Insurance) calculations.
   Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws and company policies.
5. Software & System Management:
   Utilize construction accounting software such as QuickBooks, or ERP solutions.
   Improve financial controls, reporting systems and internal controls.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in the KSA construction industry.
3. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of job costing, WIP accounting, revenue recognition (percentage-of-completion method), VAT, and Zakat regulations.
4. Language Skills: Fluency in English.
5. Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to liaise with project managers, financial teams, auditors, and government authorities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in KSA tax regulations, VAT compliance, and ZATCA e-invoicing requirements.
Knowledge of AIA billing, bonding, and contract accounting.
Experience working with large-scale construction projects in Saudi Arabia.
