Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Manager to oversee all financial aspects of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with local regulations, while providing strategic financial insights to support growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial strategies.
  • Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Accounting & Reporting
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, payroll, and cost accounting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Coordinate with auditors for external audits and ensure compliance with Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) regulations.
  • Cost Management
  • Analyze production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve cost-efficiency.
  • Work closely with operations to manage inventory valuation, standard costing, and bill of materials.
  • Cash Flow & Treasury Management
  • Manage company cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
  • Monitor receivables and payables to ensure liquidity and optimal cash utilization.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure adherence to Saudi Arabian GAAP (SOCPA) and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain internal control systems to mitigate financial risks.
  • Team Leadership
  • Lead, train, and develop a team of accountants and finance professionals.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with operational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or CPA/CMA preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years of financial management experience, preferably in industrial or plastic manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent knowledge of Saudi tax laws, ZATCA e-invoicing, and SOCPA standards.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in export/import finance and LC documentation.
  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting or ESG compliance (optional).
  • Ability to support investment analysis and CAPEX planning.
