Job Opportunity: Finance Manager at Lalamove in Riyadh, KSA

Lalamove is expanding its operations to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - Riyadh. We believe in the power of community, connecting millions of drivers and customers daily to facilitate fast and simple delivery solutions. Since 2013, we have been innovating in the logistics industry across Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East, aiming to make our technology accessible worldwide. We are now launching in KSA and seeking a Finance Manager based in Riyadh.

The ideal candidate will have experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments, with strong leadership skills and hands-on experience managing finance operations. This role involves scaling and managing our rapid growth across the region.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage daily operations of the Finance and Accounting Department
  2. Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes for the KSA operation
  3. Organize and define processes for local invoicing, finance, and collections
  4. Liaise with external parties including customers, vendors, legal, tax, and government authorities
  5. Support internal teams regarding financial and business processes
  6. Oversee month-end, year-end, and daily finance operations
  7. Coordinate with local payment and invoicing platform providers
  8. Prepare financial reports for local authorities
  9. Participate in internal control testing and transactional tax activities
  10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address issues and suggest improvements
  11. Prepare cash flow reports, forecasts, budgets, and analyze financial data
  12. Conduct financial reviews, budgeting, planning, and investment analysis
  13. Perform month-end reconciliations, including fixed assets and bank statements
  14. Assist with project funding and risk assessment from a financial perspective
Knowledge and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting
  • Fluent in English
  • At least 5 years of relevant finance experience, including 1 year in a managerial role
  • Strong understanding of local taxation regulations
  • CPA certification is highly preferred
  • Proficient in tax regulations and advanced Excel skills
