OverviewElement has an opportunity for a
Finance Manager to join the Element team in KSA.
In this role, you will provide commercial support to the country General Manager (GM), preparing credible financial forecasts, budgets, and fulfilling statutory accounting obligations, while applying controls in business management.
This role will be based in
Dammam, KSA.
Responsibilities- Provide commercial support to the GM, managing monthly financials, budgets, and forecasts for group consolidation, while analyzing business performance against key metrics and tracking progress against budgets to improve financial performance.
- Operate as a member of the management team of the laboratory business, monitoring and enforcing internal controls and compliance, and ensuring all statutory accounting obligations are met.
- Provide coaching to the operations management team on financial principles and address financial inquiries.
- Manage the direct and indirect taxation of the laboratory/business.
- Collaborate with the credit control team to improve collections.
- Coordinate with the shared services team for continuous improvement in transaction processing, meeting deadlines for group reporting, and monthly and year-end accounts.
- Identify, investigate, and analyze operational improvements, and propose changes in policies, procedures, or processes.
- Evaluate capex proposals from a commercial perspective and advise local management.
- Work closely with JV partners.
Skills / Qualifications- A professional with 10+ years of relevant experience in accounting/finance, including at least 3 years in a managerial role within an MNC.
- Graduate in accounting, with CA, CPA, or ICWA certification; experience with Navision or similar ERP systems is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, numerical proficiency, team-oriented, proactive in workload management, and a positive attitude.
- Strong experience in profit and loss analysis, financial controls, and ERP management.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse cultures.
