Job description

Job Purpose

This role will be an integral member of the team based in Saudi Arabia, responsible for the overall management of operations related to the aftermarket division in Saudi Arabia. The role accepts full responsibility for the period-end close process related to the aftermarket division. It requires strong financial support and application of accounting governance, with a good understanding of accounting standards related to revenue recognition. The individual will ensure compliance with local Saudi Arabia legal and regulatory requirements. Additionally, this role involves working closely with the operations team of the aftermarket division to ensure that KPIs and operational performance targets are achieved.

Job Description

  • Business Partner to project and functional managers regarding project costing, forecasting, budget preparation, and reporting.
  • Support the Senior Finance Manager in activities such as monthly reporting, ad hoc financial analysis, and forecasting.
  • Manage forecasting of revenue, margin, and invoicing for the entire aftermarket business on a monthly basis.
  • Identify, investigate, and analyze potential operational improvements.
  • Lead change activities within the business to ensure benefits are realized.
  • Identify, investigate, and analyze any cost overruns in the aftermarket division.
  • Maximize cash flow and performance of the aftermarket division by implementing strong financial controls.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial standards and participate in internal and external audits.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts for the legal entity focusing on the aftermarket division.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and review quarterly balance sheets and P&L statements.
  • Review and control bank payments, invoices, etc.

Must have:

• An accounting qualification. Solid accounting knowledge is required, especially in revenue and margin recognition over time, invoicing, cash flow, and working capital. Experience in project accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) is advantageous.

• Good interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.

• Must be a self-starter, team player, motivated, and capable of working independently.
