Day-to-day Responsibilities
  1. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax filings, ensuring correct transaction recording.
  2. Invoice Processing: Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and statements; ensure timely payments.
  3. Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software and maintain electronic spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  4. Cash Handling: Organize, secure, and maintain all cash and related records; analyze financial information.
  5. Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports; assist with period-end closing.
  6. Compliance and Security: Follow company policies, protect proprietary information, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  7. Customer Service: Address guest inquiries professionally and promptly, providing necessary information.
  8. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, fostering positive relationships.
  9. Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and emails; support the finance team.
  10. Problem-Solving: Resolve discrepancies and issues in financial transactions; implement corrective actions.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and teamwork to ensure smooth financial operations.

Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international luxury hotel chain.
  • GCC exposure is desirable.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is preferred.
