Job description

PIPECARE KSA is currently looking for Field Technician to join our team.

By providing technology and service-focused solutions to the international oil and gas industry, the PipeCare Group has been helping our customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. Due to our global focus and international growth, PipeCare is seeking experienced Field Technicians to support our continued expansion in KSA.

Industry/Sector: Oil & Gas / In Line Inspection services

Requirements: Solution-oriented attitude; hands-on approach; disciplined; team player; self-motivated

Responsibilities include:

  1. Prepare, sign, and submit pigging, daily, express, and other relevant reports.
  2. Discuss equipment and tools requirements including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, toolboxes, and all other required tools for use in the field.
  3. Study and analyze project information documents, operation manuals, pigging procedures, and other project-related documents.
  4. Establish professional contact with client’s field personnel, creating friendly working relations.
  5. Execute field work safely, effectively, and efficiently according to PipeCare QA/QC procedures, aligning with time, resource, and financial planning.
  6. Coordinate field activities between PipeCare team, subcontractors, clients, and other involved parties.
  7. Perform ILI runs successfully without data loss as per POF & API standards.
  8. Conduct sufficient cleaning runs to the established PipeCare cleaning criteria.
  9. Conduct site surveys and DGPs surveys following PipeCare procedures and operational requirements.
  10. Execute all other tasks as requested by the Team Leader within the assigned role.

Qualified Candidates will possess:

  1. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant).
  2. Experience in the Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure.
  3. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  4. Professional proficiency in English language.

Job requirements:

  1. Ability to travel extensively, including internationally.
  2. Flexibility to work hours based on business and project needs.
  3. Ability to work independently or within a team to ensure project success.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  1. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  2. Mobility to walk and climb within refinery or plant environments, including access to elevated platforms.
  3. Effective communication skills, including speech and hearing.
  4. Ability to focus and multitask effectively.
  5. Willingness to wear safety equipment as required.
  6. Sufficient mobility and reflexes to perform duties and travel as needed.
