Job Description

The successful candidate will be required to perform the following:

  1. Act as operations division Field HSE Advisor, assigned to division/group well sites for matters related to safety, loss prevention, environment, occupational health, and compliance.
  2. Conduct internal HSE audits and ad-hoc field inspections as per the Well Completions Safety Management System, relevant HSE & Operations standards, and management directives. Complete NCR reports and develop SMARTER plans for each audit/inspection, assisting engineering, operations, and HSE teams in safety process improvements.
  3. Lead and complete incident investigations, reviewing all related reports.
  4. Conduct pre-commencement inspections for well sites/3rd party equipment and develop action plans for findings.
  5. Pre-assess well sites for HSEI, Well Control, LPD, and other audits, developing action plans for findings.
  6. Mentor wellsite foremen on HSE matters.
  7. Evaluate contractors’ safety officers for compliance.
  8. Assess workers, leaders, and managers against behavioral safety standards through site visits and meetings, raising reports as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, HSE, Science, Industrial, or related discipline from an accredited institution or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 10 years' experience in safety operations within the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 7 years in Drilling and Workover operations.
  3. International safety certification such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent.
  4. Strong expertise in incident investigation, hazard identification, risk management, emergency preparedness, and safety management systems.
  5. Leadership skills, excellent English communication skills, computer proficiency, and ability to manage multiple projects. Capable of working in a multicultural environment and overcoming challenges.
Work Schedule
  • 28 days on, 28 days off
  • Weekly hours: 12 hours/day and 8 hours/day shifts
