A leading company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Field Compliance Coordinator to ensure safety and compliance within the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will drive improvement initiatives, develop protocols, and oversee compliance inspections, while working within a multicultural team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in safety operations, with 7+ years in Oil & Gas projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management principles.
  • International safety certification NEBOSH IGC or IOSH required.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be required to perform the following:

• As a Field Compliance Coordinator your primary role is to ensure a safe and compliant

working environment while driving continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with

• Perform job site compliance inspections, including: evaluations of Safe Work Practices

(SWP) such as; Work Permit System (WPS), Confined Space Entry, and hazard analyses.

• Develop and implement protocols for construction sites and field operations to address

risks and improve safety.

• Design and implement controls for identified hazards, including: Lockout/Tagout

procedures and other mitigation strategies.

• Evaluate and update hazard control systems to align with industry best practices and

reduce workplace incidents.

• Manage and oversee the implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS), ensuring

systematic identification, assessment, and mitigation of safety risks.

• Review and update the Safety Management System (SMS) framework to enhance its

effectiveness and promote a proactive safety culture.

• Prepare safety orientations and educational materials for employees and contractors.

• Analyze injury, property damage, and loss statistics to identify trends and underlying

causes.

• Recommend essential safety requirements for purchasing and contracting actions, ensuring

compliance with corporate standards.

• Monitor adherence to safety policies and procedures among employees and contractors.

• Support management in monitoring and enforcing compliance with department safety and

Desired Candidate Profile

• The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, HSE, Science, Industrial, or in a related discipline from an accredited entity or equivalent.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience related to safety operations, Oil & Gas industry with minimum of 7 years in Oil & Gas producing facilities projects preferably in MENA region.

• Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) principles and experience conducting Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) using techniques such as: HAZOP or Bowtie Analysis.

• Proven expertise in safety compliance programs, including: Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

• Ability to develop and deliver specialized safety training programs and conduct job site compliance inspections..

• Should hold International safety certification NEBOSCH IGC or IOSH or equivalent.

• Strong technical expertise & held a valid certification in the area of Incident

investigation, hazard identification, risk management, emergency preparedness & response, and safety management systems.

• Should have demonstrated leadership skills, excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written), computer skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks. Must have the ability to work in a multicultural environment and the drive to overcome significant challenges.

1. Work Location: Saudi Arabia office

2. Work Schedule: 5 days Work /2 day Off
