Job Title: Family Medicine Consultant

SHORT DESCRIPTION

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide high-quality family medicine care to patients.
• Offer consultative services as requested.
• Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
• Participate in training and teaching of residents and fellows; engage in research activities.
• Contribute to committees and administrative functions as needed.
• Perform special procedures as privileged.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Graduate from a recognized medical school.
• Completion of required training in family medicine.
• Saudi Arab, American, European Board Certification, or equivalent.
• Membership and/or Fellowship in America and/or Europe or equivalent, fulfilling criteria for a consultant.
• A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is mandatory.
• Dataflow verification is required.

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 3-4 years post-Board/Fellowship experience in family medicine.
• Registered member of the Saudi Board Council.

Language

• Proficiency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
