Job description

Teach all undergraduate Pharmaceutics courses, including both theoretical content and laboratory components.

1. Supervise and support students in coursework, lab work, and research projects.
2. Oversee the administrative functions of the Pharmaceutics division, including course planning, faculty coordination, and resource management.
3. Lead and manage the Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutics Track), including curriculum oversight, student mentoring, and program development.
4. Serve as the Program Quality Coordinator, ensuring compliance with national and international accreditation standards (e.g., NCAAA, CCAPP).
5. Participate actively in college and university committees, contributing to academic governance, strategic planning, and continuous improvement.
6. Engage in high-impact research, publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and support research collaborations.
7. Mentor junior faculty members and contribute to faculty development initiatives.
8. Participate in community engagement and professional development aligned with the College's mission.

Requirements

1. Education: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics or a closely related field from an accredited university.
2. Academic Rank: Must hold or be eligible for the rank of Full Professor at a recognized academic institution.
3. Professional License: Valid and active classification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
4. Skills & Competencies: Extensive experience in teaching and curriculum development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
5. Strong administrative and leadership skills, particularly in academic program management.
6. Proven record of research excellence and publication in internationally recognized journals.
7. Familiarity with program accreditation and quality assurance frameworks.
