Batterjee Medical College seeks a dedicated Faculty Member in Occupational Therapy to enhance the academic and clinical training of students. The role requires a Master's or PhD and a minimum of three years of experience, preferably with a focus on teaching. The successful candidate will support hands-on learning, foster student development, and collaborate in curriculum development and community service activities.
Prepare and deliver academic, research, and clinical activities, including instructional materials and research supervision.
Demonstrate preparedness and expertise in both theoretical and practical teaching components.
Support hands-on learning during practical training and clinical placements.
Exhibit professionalism, including full attendance, ethical conduct, and adherence to the clinical dress code.
Maintain a positive, responsive, and supportive relationship with students.
Facilitate individual and group learning activities effectively.
Take initiative in course coordination and participate in curriculum development.
Assist with exam-related tasks, such as question creation, practical station setup, and grading.
Participate in community service activities within and beyond the university.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to additional departmental tasks as needed.
A Master's or PhD in Occupational Therapy from a reputable university.
At least 3 years of experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably with teaching experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to academic excellence and student development.
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.
Interest in contributing to research and community outreach.
