Role & Responsibilities
We seek individuals with a passion for teaching and a desire to engage students in the classroom, supervise and mentor students on research and industry projects. The role involves blending traditional subject matter mastery with problem-solving, industry-based applications, and laboratory experiences to enhance student learning and prepare them for the workplace and lifelong learning. The individual is expected to contribute to the development and growth of the Computer Science program, develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses, seek external funding, establish a research program leading to peer-reviewed publications, and provide service to the program, university, community, and profession. The College of Engineering & Sciences offers excellent experimental facilities and computational resources, with encouragement for collaboration within and outside Computer Science. Considerable institutional resources are available to support the research program.
Preferred Candidate Profile
PhD in Computer Science with specialization in Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence.
