Job Description

The Electrical Engineering department at Alfaisal University invites applications for full-time positions. Specific positions and areas of interest include:

1. Assistant, Associate or Professor
   Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field specializing in electronic and computer engineering. They should possess a comprehensive knowledge of electrical circuits and the fundamental principles of electrical engineering. Additionally, expertise in the fields of communications and networks, among others, is highly desirable.
2. Instructor or Lecturer
   Applicants must have an MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in conducting lab sessions, classroom teaching, and course development. Familiarity with local and international accreditation procedures is also desirable.

The candidate should have prior teaching experience, including both courses and labs, with a focus on student-centered delivery and management at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. They should demonstrate a strong research background, with a track record of successful external grant applications, research project management, and consistent publication activity.

A proven record of mentoring and advising students is essential, along with a commitment to effective teaching and mentorship. The candidate should also have experience in regional and international accreditation frameworks and procedures, as well as standard departmental services.

The successful applicant will be expected to participate in administrative and committee assignments for both the department and the college.
