Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. On-site management, training, and mentoring of the maintenance department.
  2. Work with managers to optimize factory efficiency and uptime.
  3. Project management of new initiatives.
  4. Aid in troubleshooting factory issues with staff technicians and contractors.
  5. Work nights and weekends occasionally as needed.
  6. Continue to improve the predictive and preventative maintenance program.
  7. Further develop staff skills and assist in yearly evaluations.
  8. Spare parts ordering and inventory management.
  9. Manage monthly and annual budget.
  10. Schedule staff and work to be performed.
  11. Train staff personnel in:
    1. Troubleshooting training for staff employees.
    2. Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
    3. Best maintenance and safety practices.
  12. Responsible for the proposal of cost estimates for projects, upgrades, rebuilds, and standard parts inventory.
  13. Other duties may be assigned as business necessitates.
  14. Abide by and ensure factory personnel are following all GMPs, Personal Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, and other rules.
  15. Adhere to the Company Code of Conduct.
  16. Role model behaviors that display teamwork, respect, and professionalism.
  17. Demonstrate the willingness to learn as part of the Organization's continuous improvement process.
  18. Work in a safe manner and promptly report hazards identified in the work environment.
Qualifications:

Previous FMCG maintenance department experience. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity. Knowledge of production line and electromechanical systems. Must be available to respond to emergencies when not physically at the job site. Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English (speak, read, write) with management, maintenance team, suppliers, and contractors. Ability to accurately compute and manipulate mathematical calculations. Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once. Have a good understanding of manual handling. Possess good health and physical condition.

  • Hands-on experience in assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure the completion of project goals.
