Facility Management Consultant

Key Accountabilities
  1. Lead the development, global best practice benchmarking, and production of facility management procedures and standards, including scope of works and specifications for both hard and soft services.
  2. Provide facility management subject matter expertise.
  3. Engage and maintain close working relationships with the client to optimize O&M best practices.
  4. Assist Serco’s Consultancy team with implementation by providing understanding of standards as SME on O&M elements such as Post Maintenance Testing, System-Engineering Programmes, Equipment/Tool Control, Measuring and Test Equipment Configuration Management, Grounds and Landscaping, Facility Management, Emergency Management, Space, Energy, and Cleaning Management, and procurement processes.
  5. Develop, review, and amend procedures and processes including health and safety, environmental waste management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
  6. Establish detailed SoW and specifications for all client’s existing community services aligned with international standards.
  7. Review, develop, and optimize the SoW for all community services contracts.
  8. Provide tendering documents specific to the client’s facilities, including strategy, design, technical details, and operating procedures manual.
  9. Evaluate the possibility of incentive-based FM models.
Specific Requirements
  • Minimum years of experience in related fields on major initiatives and developments.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing best practice standards and processes.
  • Extensive international experience, preferably in the Middle East or KSA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record in continuous improvement and change management.
  • Previous consulting or advisory experience is preferred.
Knowledge
  • Subject matter expertise in O&M elements such as Maintenance Planning, Work Control, Operating Procedures, Post Maintenance Testing, Systems Engineering, Configuration Management, Grounds and Landscaping, Facility Management (Hard & Soft Services), Emergency Management, Space Management, Energy Management, and Janitorial Procedures.
Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or Engineering in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
