Job description

• Conduct accurate on-site measurements for façade elements (e.g., cladding, curtain wall systems, windows).
• Use tools like total stations, laser scanners, and GPS to verify site dimensions against design drawings.
• Identify and record deviations or inconsistencies between as-built conditions and design intent.

Coordination with Design and Construction Teams

• Communicate survey findings to the design and engineering teams.
• Support designers with accurate site data to assist in finalizing fabrication or installation drawings.
• Liaise with contractors, project managers, and façade engineers to ensure proper implementation of façade systems.

Quality Control and Assurance

• Inspect façade installations to ensure they align with specifications, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Document discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
• Verify alignment, verticality, plumbness, and flatness of installed façade components.

Support for Installation and Fabrication

• Assist in the layout and setting out of façade elements on site.
• Provide dimensional control support to installers to ensure correct positioning of brackets, anchors, panels, etc.
• Work closely with the fabrication team to validate fabrication dimensions.
