The role involves reading technical drawings, cutting, shaping, and welding metal components, and ensuring the highest quality standards in fabrication. Ideal candidates will possess at least 3 years of relevant experience and a TESDA Certificate in Fabrication. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative environment focused on process improvements and safety.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to understand fabrication requirements.
Cut, shape, and weld metal components using various fabrication techniques, such as cutting torches, plasma cutters, and welding machines.
Utilize fabrication machinery and tools, including shears, brakes, rollers, and drills, to shape and form steel materials.
Select appropriate materials, tools, and equipment necessary for fabrication.
Ensure accuracy and precision during the fabrication process to meet project specifications and quality standards.
Conduct quality control checks to verify that fabricated components meet the required tolerances and specifications.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure the timely completion of projects.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and consumables essential for fabrication.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area to ensure safety.
Communicate and coordinate with supervisors and team members regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity within the department.
