Job Summary
Responsible for operating, training, and maintaining HDPE extrusion processes and machines that continuously extrude polyethylene spoolable pipes and liners.

Responsibilities, Accountability & Authority

• Determine extrusion machine setup procedures and select appropriate dies and tips.
• Set controls to regulate raw materials, melting temperatures, sizing rings, vacuum, water flow, air pressure, and chiller tanks.
• Read and interpret product run sheets and drawings.
• Control machine parameters to synchronize feed and extrusion speed.
• Identify defects and implement process controls to meet product specifications.
• Review inspection results and document findings on Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
• Perform repairs and joints.
• Roll extruded products onto spools.
• Analyze breakdowns and organize spares and repair jobs.
• Maintain and control process inventory of tools, spares, and consumables.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are always enforced and adhered to.
• Be responsible for product quality and process efficiency.
• Supervise employee job execution, including training, performance evaluation, and employee relations.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and control of equipment and materials in manufacturing.
• Comply with all company and HSE policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience with QMS.
