The Export SalesDirector will lead the company’s international sales strategy, drive revenue growth across target export markets, and manage distributor/partner relationships. The role is responsible for expanding the company’s global footprint, identifying new market opportunities, and ensuring profitability across export channels.
Key Accountabilities
- Design and implement export sales strategies aligned with company goals and market dynamics.
- Identify and evaluate new markets and partners through market research, feasibility analysis, and market entry planning.
- Recruit, manage, and support international sales teams and distributors to ensure performance, compliance, and consistent brand representation.
- Set sales targets for each market or partner, track performance, analyze variances, and take corrective action as needed.
- Lead pricing discussions, negotiate payment terms, and finalize trade agreements with international clients and partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key international customers to drive long-term business growth.
- Prepare annual budgets and sales forecasts for export markets and oversee performance versus targets.
- Ensure full compliance with international trade laws, export documentation requirements, and customs regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as supply chain, finance, marketing, and product development to ensure smooth execution of international sales operations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We are Looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in export sales, including leadership roles.
- Proven success in expanding into new markets (preferably across MENA, Africa, Europe, or Asia).
- Experience in managing distributors, agents, or key accounts in multiple countries.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, INCOTERMS, and logistics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
