Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Support in developing sourcing strategy and implement it to ensure TAWAL's procurement strategy is aligned with organizational objectives.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support in developing the sourcing strategy and sourcing plans for TAWAL's main spend categories to ensure TAWAL spending is channeled through approved suppliers.
  • Develop technical sourcing strategy and plans in coordination with internal stakeholders and discuss requirements and specifications with internal stakeholders and third party.
  • Administer the technical procurement cycle including supplier's registration and creation of supplier catalogue.
  • Involve in negotiation of terms and conditions and support in the management of SLAs and change orders of suppliers.
  • Analyze current market and report market practice and emerging trends and update benchmark prices periodically.
  • Formulate and keep an up to date database of technical procurement and provide periodic reports as necessary.
  • Support in performance reviews with suppliers to drive continuous improvements and ensure technical, commercial, legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions.
  • Initiate and support different initiatives that can produce benefits to TAWAL in different areas and grant cost efficiency.
  • Perform other responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Line Manager in order to meet Section/Department objectives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1.Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent

2.Minimum Experience:

  • 8 years of experience in relevant fields
