About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Housekeeper in Saudi Arabia, on a remote, island location.

  • Ensure proper inventories of linen, uniforms, and all operating equipment in housekeeping are conducted in line with audit standards to manage costs effectively.
  • Enforce all safety rules, emergency procedures, and fire prevention regulations according to Jumeirah HS&E standards to ensure the safety of guests and colleague.
  • Oversee the control of cleaning and guest supplies; receiving, recording, handling, and storage, to minimize losses and maximize resource use.
  • Liaise with other managers in the Rooms Division, Technical Services Department, and Director of Rooms to monitor service quality, discuss operational problems, and ensure repair works are efficiently delivered.
  • Participate in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan and ensure all tasks in the housekeeping operations are completed to ensure a successful operation according to Jumeirah Brand Standards.
  • Develop and implement modernization of cleaning methods and equipment to ensure high-quality cleanliness and increased performance, meeting guest expectations.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • 10–12 years of experience in housekeeping operations within luxury hospitality, including 3–5 years in a managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of Opera Version 5 and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven ability to manage projects, organize teams, and deliver results with excellent time management
  • Skilled in leading and motivating diverse teams, with a strong appreciation for cultural diversity
  • Known for attention to detail, flexibility, and a hands-on, adaptable approach to change
  • Confident communicator with strong influencing skills and the ability to drive performance
