Job summary

Rawaj HCM Jobs is seeking a General Manager for a leading chemical manufacturing company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role carries full responsibility for the company’s overall performance including strategy, manufacturing operations, and regulatory compliance.

The candidate should have 12–15 years of senior leadership experience in chemicals or related industries, with proven P&L management and strong leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 12-15 years of relevant experience, including senior leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience managing a profit-and-loss function within chemicals, paints, coatings, pigments, inks, plastics or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong commercial, operational and financial-management capabilities.
• Experience in manufacturing optimization, business development and supply-chain management.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in Arabic & English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s business strategy and annual operating plan.
• Take full responsibility for revenue, profitability, cash flow and budget performance.
• Lead sales growth across Saudi Arabia, the GCC and selected export markets.
• Build strong relationships with key customers, distributors and strategic partners.
• Improve pricing, product mix, margins and customer profitability.
• Oversee manufacturing operations, quality, maintenance and production planning.
• Improve plant productivity, capacity utilization, yield and cost efficiency.
• Ensure reliable procurement, inventory control and supply-chain performance.
• Lead new-product development and technical-service initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Build, develop and retain a high-performing leadership team.
• Provide regular business updates and recommendations to the Board.
