Job description

Hotel:

Amaala (RSIAM), Amaala, northwestern coast of the Red Sea

Position: Executive Chef

As Executive Chef, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the culinary department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.

Responsibilities:
  1. Focus on the rejuvenation of the culinary experience. Monitor food and material waste, liaise with suppliers and the team for efficient waste removal and composting, and explore opportunities for growing our own produce to feature in our culinary offerings.
  2. Implement wellness and nutrition initiatives throughout the operation, with a focus on producing our own ingredients.
  3. Establish purchasing practices aligned with Six Senses nutrition and sustainability standards.
  4. Regularly assess menus to ensure relevance and alignment with Eat With Six Senses practices.
  5. Promote a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
  6. Achieve financial targets related to revenue, profitability, and ROIC.
  7. Ensure departmental operations comply with legal, statutory, and financial requirements, including documentation, reporting, contractual obligations, safety protocols, communication standards, and budget controls.
Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field, with 5 or more years of relevant experience, including management roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Fluency in Italian and English is required.
