Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Chef with experience in large key luxury international hotel brands within Middle Eastern and European markets.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes served.
  • Develop and update the departmental SOP Manual, detailing standards of performance, policies, procedures, and service standards relevant to the efficient operation of the kitchen in accordance with the hotel's policies, standards, and municipality requirements.
  • Possess excellent knowledge of handling large banquet facilities and ODC operations with a luxury restaurant background.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations, implementing proper hygiene practices, sanitation procedures, and HACCP principles to prevent foodborne illnesses and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Manage food inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and control food costs by minimizing waste, optimizing portion sizes, and implementing effective inventory control systems.
  • Collaborate with the senior culinary team to develop new menus and product innovations supported by detailed analysis and accurate costing.
  • Supervise the culinary team by providing guidance, training, and motivation to maintain high productivity, morale, and quality standards while controlling costs.
  • Ensure all departmental reports, schedules, standard recipes, menus, food presentation photographs, and correspondences are completed accurately and promptly.
  • Interact with management of other departments to foster and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Identify market needs and trends to develop food menus catering to both hotel guests and the local market.

  • 10+ years of international experience in five-star hotels and restaurants.

  • Proven problem-solving and project management abilities.
