Job description

Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine

We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine to join our team in Mecca. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and authentic Indian dishes, along with strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create and design menu items featuring traditional and modern Indian flavors
  2. Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and team management
  3. Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
  4. Ensure consistent high quality of food production, presentation, and service
  5. Maintain budgetary guidelines for food costs and labor expenses
  6. Collaborate with restaurant managers to develop marketing strategies for promoting the restaurant's unique cuisine

Requirements:
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
  2. Thorough knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, cooking techniques, and regional variations
  3. Ability to create new dishes while maintaining traditional flavors and techniques
  4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff
  5. Excellent time management and organizational skills
  6. Understanding of health code regulations and ability to maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen

Experience working in high-volume restaurants or hotels is preferred.
