As a Seasonal Executive Chef in Jeddah, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the culinary operations for our seasonal resort. You will be leading a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Responsibilities:
Plan and create menus that cater to the preferences and dietary needs of our guests
Train and supervise kitchen staff in all aspects of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
Ensure all dishes are prepared according to high-quality standards and delivered in a timely manner
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all safety and sanitation regulations
Develop relationships with local vendors to ensure the freshest ingredients are used in our dishes
Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or themed dinners
Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate them into menu planning
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role, ideally in a seasonal or resort setting
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and culinary trends
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed during peak season
High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is preferred
Knowledge of basic accounting principles for cost control
Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
