Job description

Job Description:

The EWS Technician Senior will be responsible for operations and maintenance of Electronic Warfare and radar systems. They will perform on-the-job training (OJT) on location and train junior staff as required.

  • Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality, and Export Control Regulations and Procedures
  • Comply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies, and Regulations
  • Operate and maintain the Electronic Warfare Operational Support (EWOS)
  • Advise customers on current and future electronic warfare capabilities
  • Train customer personnel and provide OJT on EWS
  • Work as part of a team, performing scheduled and unscheduled duties within a customer environment
  • Undertake EW/radar maintenance, repair, inspection tasks, quality checks, and documentation in accordance with Company and Customer procedures
  • Check tools/GSE for condition and expiration date before maintenance activities and ensure correct use
  • Perform electrical assembly and integration
  • Conduct first-level quality inspection and functional tests of EW/radar systems
  • Analyze performance and isolate malfunctions of integrated avionic instruments and flight control systems
  • Conduct factory and onsite acceptance tests
  • Ensure all work is recorded and signed off appropriately
  • Perform duties assigned by the Site Manager, ensuring timely completion and quality standards
  • Conduct on-the-job training activities
  • Guide junior technicians as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
