Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Events Western Chef to join our culinary team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As the Events Western Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional Western cuisine for various events and functions, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.

  1. Develop and execute innovative Western-style menus for diverse events and functions
  2. Lead and supervise the kitchen team during event preparations and service
  3. Ensure food quality, presentation, and taste meet the highest standards
  4. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, budgeting, and cost control
  5. Collaborate with the events team to customize menus according to client preferences
  6. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
  7. Train and mentor kitchen staff in Western culinary techniques and best practices
  8. Participate in menu tastings and client consultations as needed
  9. Stay updated on current culinary trends and incorporate them into menu offerings
  10. Oversee the proper storage, handling, and rotation of food products

Qualifications

  1. Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Western cuisine chef, with a focus on event catering
  3. Proven expertise in advanced Western culinary techniques and menu development
  4. Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certification
