The Marketing Manager designs and delivers critical aspects of the marketing strategy to achieve commercial objectives and revenue targets. This includes brand work, accurate customer segmentation, data analytics, campaign planning and multi-channel optimisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ownership and accountability for executing marketing strategy, management, and optimisation for both inbound and outbound marketing campaigns.
  • Delivers on strategic KPIs by driving online traffic, leads and conversions with ongoing results presented in regular updates.
  • Understands visitor and exhibitors’ digital behaviour through continual testing and reporting on channel and campaign performance to optimise plans. This includes using Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and other platforms to spot issues and opportunities.
  • Benchmarks and sets new KPI targets to measure and elevate the performance of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Work with supporting agencies to develop the strategy and setup of all paid campaigns.
  • Measure and optimize paid marketing using vendor dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports.
  • Identify evolving SEO practices and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop new campaigns.
  • Develop new and creative organic search growth strategies for each stage of the customer lifecycle, aligned with digital trends and platforms of various markets.
  • Collaborate with content marketing and blog contributors to create high-quality content around relevant terms.
  • Manage and improve organic search performance and goal-setting based on CTR, traffic, and conversions.
  • Design and implement testing and optimisation strategies (including A/B testing, landing pages and CTAs).
LEADERSHIP
  • Work with line reports & marketing team to ensure successful delivery of campaigns in line with KPI’s, event and divisional strategy.
  • Line manages digital marketer/s to implement campaign strategies.
  • Provide guidance, feedback and inspiration to line reports.
ANALYSIS & INSIGHT
  • Monitor campaign performances by producing relevant and timely reports.
  • Recommend changes to campaign execution based on data insights.
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance.
  • Share relevant insights with wider marketing team and senior management to drive revenues or pursue new opportunities.
PLANNING & CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT
  • Plan marketing campaigns to meet objectives – visitor attendance, exhibitor acquisition.
  • Monitor operational plans and ensure adherence to deadlines (Drop Schedules, Gantt charts, Time & Action Plans, Content Calendars, Budget Trackers).
  • Assist marketing managers with budget development and ensure digital components are up to date.
MARKETING EXECUTION
  • Identify target universe and key segments within it.
  • Develop personas, value propositions and messaging for each segment for each product.
  • Ensure timely, relevant communications across digital channels and optimise for each channel.
  • Significant experience in a digital marketing role at manager level.
  • Experience with Eloqua, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target.
  • Analytical mindset with capability for web and email A/B testing.
  • PPC and SEO experience.
  • Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven experience of hitting digital channel KPIs and a passion for digital marketing.
  • Clear communication, both written and verbal, and the ability to articulate ideas persuasively.
  • Database development and growth including segmentation and personalisation.
  • Deadline and target driven.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills (English; Arabic advantageous).
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 or 4 years’ experience as Marketing Manager
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Saudi National is required
  • Experience with Saudi Ministries is preferred
  • Events experience is highly preferable
