Estimation Manager

AtkinsRéalis is looking for an Estimation Engineer in NEOM, KSA.

How will you contribute to the team?

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

1. Bid Evaluation: Assessing bid requests and preparing detailed cost estimates.
2. Budget Preparation: Analyzing project information to assemble budgets, bids, and proposals.
3. Technical Analysis: Reviewing project documents and specifications to determine necessary resources.
4. Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to gather detailed information.
5. Cost Estimation: Preparing detailed and well-documented cost estimates using specialized software.
6. AutoCAD Proficiency: Utilizing AutoCAD to create and review technical drawings and plans.
7. Cost Software: Using cost estimation software such as Primavera, Building Connected, or On-Screen Takeoff for accurate estimations.
8. BIM Experience: Using BIM software to create and manage digital representations of construction projects.
9. Data Management: Maintaining updated records of estimated and actual costs.
10. Revisions: Revising estimates in case of changes in project specifications or market conditions.
11. Client Relations: Managing client relationships and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
12. Team Leadership: Leading the team in creating proposals and bids, and presenting budget and value engineering ideas to the owner and design team.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and proficiency in AutoCAD, cost estimation tools, and BIM software.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze project data and assess financial, technical, and operational risks.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in preparing cost estimates and maintaining records.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Mathematics), from an accredited institution.
• 4+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• PMI membership/certification or APM membership/Chartered Project Manager is preferred.
• AACE membership/certification or RICS membership/Chartered Surveyor is preferred.

General Skills:

• Candidate must be highly articulate, have a clear and analytical approach to problem-solving, and strong decision-making abilities. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project.
