Overview

We are seeking an Estimation Engineer to join the Capital Management Division under the Projects Coordination Department.

The Capital Management Division is responsible for planning and executing Pipelines, Distribution, and Terminals Projects (C1 type).

Your primary role will be assessing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and analyzing contractor change orders to ensure project completion within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the focal point with the PMOD estimation team.
• Prepare and develop estimates with varying accuracy levels (+/-50%, +/-30%, and +/-10%).
• Develop engineering work order estimates.
• Endorse all GES+ estimates before submission to PMOD, analyzing project specifications and scope to determine engineering, procurement, and construction costs.
• Collect actual data from projects for benchmarking purposes.
• Develop and maintain an estimation benchmarking database.
• Support project execution in preparing bid packages.
• Suggest improvements to Saudi Aramco engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, changes, and project costs to support financial reporting.
• Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and new technologies.
• Identify potential risks and uncertainties impacting project budgets and develop mitigation strategies.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Estimator in downstream hydrocarbon facilities.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in cost estimation tools and MS Excel.
• Proven experience as an estimator in construction projects (onshore and offshore).
