Job summary

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) seeks an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Risk Specialist to support the ERM framework on the KFUPM campus in Dhahran. The role reports to the Deputy Chief Audit Executive and enables executives and the Audit & Risk Committee to access up-to-date risk information.

Responsibilities include partnering across 1st and 2nd lines of defense, developing dashboards and KPIs, and driving continuous ERM improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in risk management or related field.
• At least 5 years of risk management experience.
• Knowledge of risk and control identification and assessment.
• Knowledge of risk monitoring and reporting.
• Experience using GRC tools or other risk software.
• Ability to challenge at all management levels and influence decisions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the ERM program execution and enterprise risk management framework.
• Assist 1st and 2nd line of defense to mature ERM programs.
• Enhance monitoring and reporting with dashboards and KPIs.
• Identify trends through risk deficiencies and events.
• Leverage industry best practices for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization.
