Job description

Job Description

Diagnose and treat minor cases of illnesses (as illustrated in the table below). Responsible for examining patients, taking medical histories, prescribing medications, and ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests. Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare related to their individual cases, and refer cases needing further investigation to specialists. Conduct video consultations.

Accountabilities
Clinical Tasks:
  1. Assess patients and document findings.
  2. Design and execute the patient’s care plan.
  3. Educate patients on their health conditions, investigations, treatment options, and medication use.
  4. Provide health promotion and disease prevention education.
  5. Order and review results of patient investigations.
  6. Prescribe medications.
  7. Perform additional tasks based on specialty and clinical privileges.
  8. Handle vaccinations if applicable.
  9. Refer cases to clinic specialties when necessary.

The employee’s duties are not limited to the above; the manager may assign additional duties as needed.

Work Environment
  • Indoors: 100%
  • Outdoors: 0%
  • Working Days: 6 days per week
  • Days Off: 1 day off per week
  • Working Hours: 8 hours per day according to the shift schedule approved by the department head.
Job Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine from a recognized university and SCHS license.
Experience
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience post-graduation.
  • Occupational health experience with relevant training certification.
Certificates
  • Valid resuscitation training certificates (BLS, ACLS, ATLS) are required.
Computer Skills
  • Proficiency in Office applications and Health Information Systems.
Languages
  • Fluent in English and Arabic, both speaking and writing.
