Job summary
NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced EPMS Engineer to drive resolution and closeout of EPMS-related issues. You will coordinate with engineering contractors, vendors, and operations to ensure full EPMS functionality and readiness for handover.
The role covers issue management, technical support, testing, vendor coordination, and documentation. Strong engineering foundations and hands-on integration experience are essential for success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–10+ years of experience in electrical power systems, SCADA, EMS, or EPMS projects.
- Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting electrical monitoring and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage EPMS punch list items and track actions with owners, target dates, and status updates.
- Provide technical expertise on EPMS architecture, hardware, software, networking, and system integration.
- Develop and execute test procedures for issue verification and closeout; witness retesting activities.
- Coordinate with EPMS suppliers, system integrators, OEMs, and EPC contractors to drive issue resolution.
- Ensure as-built documentation is complete and ready for final handover; support operating procedures and maintenance manuals.
- Provide regular status reports on outstanding issues, risks, and mitigation plans.
