Implement all HSE policies of the company, local legislation & regulations, other local and international statutory codes of practice and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Project and Field Report Audits
- Contractors Audits and Compliance with JCI and Industry-based Standards
- Equipment emissions permits and reports, and breathing air quality records
- Conduct site inspections
- Risk assessment & hazard analysis and managing mitigation process
- Conduct inspections on subcontractor works
- Attend pre-job planning and other client meetings as required
- Conduct on-site safety meetings daily / weekly
- Consult with the client on resolving unhealthy & unsafe issues faced by JCI employees
- Ensure that everyone obeys all safety rules
- Assist work site personnel and line management in development of work site HSE and Cause No Harm promotions and campaigns
- Perform and assume other duties as required by immediate supervisor
- Ensure compliance with HSE-related systems, e.g., firefighting, emergency preparedness at site & office
Requirements:
- College graduate or minimum of 2 years of diploma in health & safety with 5 years of experience
- Formal training in OHSAS 30 hours and Risk Management
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification
- Knowledge of relevant HSE principles, including regulatory agency, client, and subcontractor HSE requirements
- Knowledge of international standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
- Fluent in English
