Environmental Engineer – Air Quality Department Lead
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in air quality engineering, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proficient in air modeling software and GIS tools.
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Air Quality Department, overseeing engineers, scientists, and technical staff.
- Ensure compliance with air quality regulations, overseeing permitting, emissions modeling, monitoring, and reporting.
- Develop emission reduction strategies and oversee their implementation.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, monitoring authorities, clients, and stakeholders.
- Maintain relationships with agencies such as NCEC, Saudi Aramco, RCJY, and KACST.
- Mentor junior staff and lead technical training and professional development.
- Contribute to budget planning, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
- Stay updated on regulations and advise management on compliance risks and opportunities.
Additional Skills & Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of air quality regulations, permitting, and emissions management.
- Familiarity with ESG reporting, sustainability metrics, EMS, and ISO 14001 standards.
