About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated
Engineering Supervisor to join the
pre-opening team at
Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay. Reporting to the
Engineering Manager, you will assist in leading the Engineering team through the final stages of construction, testing, commissioning, operational setup, and the smooth transition into daily maintenance activities. You will be responsible for ensuring all systems and equipment meet Four Seasons' standards of quality, efficiency, and safety, supporting both project readiness and ongoing operations.
What You Will Do- Support the Engineering leadership team in reviewing technical specifications, MEP installations, and testing procedures to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Participate actively in inspections, snagging, commissioning, and system testing processes alongside contractors and consultants.
- Supervise the handover of equipment, technical documentation, warranties, and asset tagging to ensure complete and accurate operational transitions.
- Oversee the setup and data entry of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Hotsos), including asset registration, preventive maintenance schedules, and task generation.
- Coordinate closely with contractors and project teams to ensure timely rectification of defects, completion of punch lists, and successful system handovers.
- Assist in setting up engineering workshops, storerooms, organizing tools, spare parts, and implementing energy monitoring systems.
- Organize and supervise technical training for the engineering team on newly installed systems, such as HVAC, BMS, generators, elevators, and fire life safety equipment.
- Maintain comprehensive records of commissioning certificates, inspection reports, service agreements, and compliance documentation.
- Plan and oversee preventive maintenance activities for all critical equipment prior to and post-opening to ensure optimal operational reliability.
- Conduct regular site walks and inspections to ensure all health, safety, and fire life safety standards are fully adhered to.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Security, Food & Beverage, and other operational departments to ensure the resort's technical readiness.
- Manage and assign engineering tasks, ensuring efficient and timely responses to snagging items, maintenance requests, and last-minute project adjustments.
- Transition into daily supervision of maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance programs, guest room repairs, public area maintenance, and emergency responses.
- Promote a culture of safety, sustainability, and service excellence within the Engineering team through hands-on leadership and training.
What You Bring- A diploma or degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or large facilities, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire life safety systems, and energy management systems.
- Proven experience with pre-opening activities including commissioning, snagging, defect management, and system handover processes.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms, particularly Hotsos, and strong skills in asset and preventive maintenance management.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic pre-opening environment, adapt quickly to changes, and manage shifting operational priorities.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
