Qualifications

• Hold a university degree in an appropriate subject (e.g. Physics, Electrical, electro-mechanics, Mechanical or Computer Science) or any other qualification approved by MetCal Wing Commander.
• Will have an extensive technical knowledge about TMDE, calibration equipment and laboratories management.
• Will have at least eight years practical experience in technical calibration production, the most recent two years of which will be at a senior level with supervisory experience within MetCal, RSAF.
• Must possess appropriate English oral and writing skills and the ability to compose and construct clear and understandable letters and reports.
• Must have the ability to identify future requirements of the RSAF Metrology Program and to develop strategic plans and initiatives to accommodate such requirements.
• Must be familiar with, and able to use, Microsoft Office software and Management Information Systems applications to an advanced level.
• Must be highly organized and have the ability to multitask.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with high levels of management within the RSAF and Company with proper tact, protocol and diplomacy.
