Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Engineering Manager (Snr MEP & Commissioning Engr) to join our NEOM Green Hydrogen Innovation Centre team! In this role you will oversee the execution of infrastructure and industrial projects at the site level, ensuring construction and engineering activities comply with project specifications, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The Senior MEP and Commissioning Engineer acts as the on-site technical authority, liaising between contractors, consultants, and clients, and ensuring smooth progress and coordination of all works.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage the scope of engineering work, schedules, change management and closeout for the assigned project elements, and monitor progress to meet schedule and budget requirements. Identifies and documents changes in scope.

• Coordinate with Authorities and Agencies for approvals and handing over of Project/services

• Interfaces with Contractor and subcontracts to facilitate compliance with the Contract and deliverables.

• Reviews work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed, and that quality is acceptable

• Reviews and approves change orders in compliance with clients processes, procedures and sign off authority.

• Regularly manage the Client's expectation and update the progress

• Liaise with client & senior management team to ensure smooth execution and handing over of the Project

• Ensure that Parsons rights and obligations are fulfilled

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering from a recognized University.

• Minimum 15+ years of overall work experience in construction supervision of infrastructure and retail development projects within KSA.

• Committed to ensuring safe and efficient execution of activities in accordance with specifications and design requirements.

• Ability to conduct site inspections, manage daily activities, report progress and develop action plans to resolve issues

• Proficient in managing client technical interfaces to ensure alignment with project goals and expectations.

• Experienced in overseeing contractor activities to ensure compliance with designs and construction timelines.

• Strong focus on subcontractor relationship management and maintaining high-quality standards.

• Knowledge of Procedures, Commissioning and various Government Authority specification & procedures in the KSA is required.

• Ability to manage project progress against KPIs & communicate with client, peers & contractors

• Good communication skills both written and spoken.

• Ability to report progress through recognized reporting mechanisms & manage conflict (time, budget, stakeholders) to achieve targets

• Good technical knowledge and well-versed with the standards and codes.

• Good computer skills and software proficiency in a related field.

• Knowledge in process health, safety, and environment.
