Overview

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to work on a major development, a giga project located in the northeastern part of the Red Sea. The successful candidate will oversee the engineering and design management scopes of integrated projects for our clients and lead a team of engineers and designers, ensuring successful execution from conception to completion with high standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. The project scope includes luxury hospitality & high-end residential assets, infrastructure, commercial spaces, and recreational facilities.

Responsibilities

Engineering Excellence:

  • Oversee the engineering and design processes, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Drive innovation and optimization initiatives, leveraging advanced technologies and methodologies to enhance project delivery efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors, to coordinate project activities and resolve inter-disciplinary conflicts.

Project Leadership:

  • Lead the engineering and design management aspects of integrated projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project objectives, and industry standards.
  • Provide strategic direction and technical expertise to project teams, guiding them through all phases of project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Team Management:

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Delegate responsibilities, assign tasks, and provide ongoing feedback and support to team members, ensuring their professional growth and career development.

Client Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, establishing strong relationships based on trust, communication, and collaboration.
  • Understand client needs, expectations, and project requirements, and proactively address any concerns or challenges to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project objectives and expectations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional engineering licensure or certification (PE, PEng, etc.) preferred.
  • 20+ years of experience in engineering management roles within the consulting engineering industry.
  • Must have design / construction experience in the organization and control of buildings and civil engineering for major land development projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex engineering projects, preferably in multiple sectors.
  • Strong technical expertise in engineering disciplines and experience across art / culture; high-end residentials & mansions, entertainment & leisure, health clubs and hotels, F&B and retail, recreational.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as relevant engineering design software.
