We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Customer Solutions Engineering Manager to lead our Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) operations within a Front-Line unit. In this role, you will develop your team’s competencies to meet current and future business needs, ensuring technical expertise to understand customer requirements and define optimal KONE solutions, working closely with sales and delivery teams.

As a CSE Manager, you will ensure compliance with engineering policies, safety regulations, and local codes and standards throughout the solution lifecycle. Depending on the organizational structure, you may manage a team within a larger engineering unit or lead a small to mid-sized Front Line engineering team.

CSE Manager Responsibilities
  1. Deliver CSE scope of work using the CSE team.
  2. Work closely with Supply line management for project-specific solutions, cost management, and meeting contractual timelines.
  3. Identify market and technology changes, driving updates to solutions and processes.
  4. Provide technical consultancy to Sales and customers.
  5. Participate in high-priority customer meetings as the CSE representative.
  6. Manage costing, understanding total and target costs, and plan for cost-effective solutions.
  7. Ensure deployment of engineering policies, local codes, and standards.
  8. Ensure CSE plans deliver safe customer solutions.
  9. Provide high-quality inputs for sourcing and supply line.
  10. Consider full lifecycle aspects like installability and maintainability in solutions.
Leadership / People Management Responsibilities
  1. Set targets, conduct PDPs and IDPs for team members.
  2. Balance CSE resources based on business priorities.
  3. Facilitate information sharing and foster collaboration.
  4. Drive competence development within the team.
  5. Promote behaviors that represent KONE as one team.
  6. Lead team performance.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 5-7 years of industrial experience in High Rise engineering, and a minimum of 10 years in engineering management. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage. Proven management skills in a global/regional environment, strong leadership, understanding of construction and modernization processes, and knowledge of safety standards are essential. Business experience and a results-oriented mindset are preferred.
