We are looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Engineering Manager specializing in System Architecture to lead our architecture team in designing and developing scalable, robust, and high-performance systems. This role involves setting the system architecture for complex software platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives. The Engineering Manager will provide both technical leadership and managerial oversight, guiding architects and engineers through system design, integration, and implementation processes.

As an Engineering Manager, System Architecture, your daily responsibilities may include:

1. Managing and mentoring a team of software engineers and architects to design, develop, and maintain system-wide platform features.
2. Ensuring the quality of code and design according to industry best practices and standards.
3. Coaching and mentoring team members on high-level design, architecture, effort estimation, and testing practices.
4. Providing feedback on team members' job performance.
5. Overseeing individual learning and development plans.
6. Initiating hiring processes and resource allocation to support the team.
7. Overseeing the execution of the software development process.

Requirements

Our target profile includes candidates with:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top university.
2. At least 10 years of software engineering experience in SaaS or large-scale distributed applications.
3. Previous management experience.
4. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical solutions to both management and engineering teams.
5. Experience with multiple programming languages and a demonstrated drive to learn and develop technical skills.
6. Proficiency in system design and distributed computing principles.
7. Deep experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
8. Solid understanding of the Scrum agile framework and other software development processes.
