Job description

Lead and manage the technical department, including design engineers, draftsmen, and BIM specialists.

Oversee the preparation and review of all technical drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication details using Revit, AutoCAD, and other industry-standard tools.

Interpret architectural and structural drawings and calculations, translating them into practical fabrication and workable installation details.

Ensure technical submissions meet client specifications on the first attempt, adhere to project timelines, and comply with GCC codes and international standards.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle to resolve technical issues.

Review and validate material specifications, structural calculations, and construction methods for aluminum and steel works.

Manage BIM coordination and clash detection, particularly for large-scale commercial and infrastructure projects.

Guide value engineering initiatives to improve cost efficiency without compromising quality.

Conduct site visits and provide technical support during fabrication and installation phases.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and fabrication technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 7-10 years of technical experience in aluminum and steel fabrication, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination tools.

Solid understanding of façade glass systems, GRC, Terracotta, architectural metal works, façade lighting, structural connections, and finishing standards.

Proven experience in the KSA region on major commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.

Familiarity with relevant KSA building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and coordination abilities in Arabic and English.
