We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring that all aspects are organized, coordinated, and completed in a timely manner. This position requires a strong understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Accountability Areas

Project Scheduling and Management:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Track project progress against the schedule, identify delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Assess the impact of scope changes on the schedule and adjust planning, accordingly, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes.

Resource Management:

  • Assess and allocate resources effectively, optimizing manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project timelines.
  • Identify potential risks and constraints that could impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather input and ensure cohesive planning efforts.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports, highlighting progress, issues, and forecasts to stakeholders and management.

Data Analysis and Improvement:

  • Analyze historical data and project performance metrics to inform future planning and improve accuracy in estimates.

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and best practices in project planning and management.

Delivery:

  • Meet operational and development targets within schedules.

Experience:

  • 2–7 years in construction.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Primavera, MS Office, Power BI, cost control, and APP Sheet
