BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor (PC) under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support, and training to Saudi Arabia. We maintain Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF personnel in operating their aircraft, equipment, and weapons. This role applies measurement science, mathematics, physics, and engineering principles to design and develop calibration processes for Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), including electrical, dimensional, optical, physical, mechanical, environmental, and chemical types. Responsibilities include analyzing calibration problems, employing statistical methods, developing software, recommending standards, maintaining laboratory systems, and managing departmental activities.
Candidates should have formal training (civilian or military) in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical engineering, including Physical-Dimensional, Pressure, Liquid and Gas Flow, and Electrical parameters, with at least 4 years of training and 5 years of practical experience. A university degree in physics, electronics engineering, or related fields is required. Extensive experience with measuring equipment, calibration environments, and engineering problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to produce clear reports and analyze calibration issues is also necessary.
