Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Engineer in the Red Sea region, on a remote location.

About the Job:
  1. Supervise and manage the daily activities of all Engineering Department supervisors and subordinates.
  2. Ensure adherence to policies and operating procedures through observation of activities.
  3. Maintain property and assets in top condition via the “Jumeirah Engineering Management System” and competent personnel.
  4. Monitor repair and maintenance works to meet established standards.
  5. Assist in implementing, coordinating, and monitoring the JEMS (Jumeirah Engineering Management System), including Fire, Life and Safety Matrix, PPM, and Work Order Systems.
  6. Manage grievances, suggestions, and complaints from colleagues, recommending appropriate actions to the Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer.
About you:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in a luxury hotel setting, ensuring high standards of operational excellence.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office for data management and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and energy-efficient practices.
  • Proficiency in CMMS Systems, AutoCAD, Energy Management, HVAC, electrical systems, intelligent lighting systems, and BMS applications.
