An exciting opportunity is available for a Process Engineer based in Jubail.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Process Engineer is responsible for overall monitoring and enhancement of various plant operations.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical inputs and support to plant operations, including preparing different heat and material balance scenarios.
• Evaluate plant processes and proposed design changes, considering environmental and economic factors.
• Collaborate closely with process chemists and control engineers to ensure optimal plant setup and efficient operation.
• Set up scale-up and scale-down processes, including necessary equipment design and configuration adjustments.
• Evaluate design, installation, and commissioning of new projects, including monitoring developments and troubleshooting.
• Perform process simulations and assess options for plant expansion or reconfiguration by developing and testing models.
• Conduct risk assessments, manage costs and schedules, document processes, develop operating instructions, and implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve production and quality.
• Optimize production by analyzing processes, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Propose and implement process improvements and new technologies.

Minimum Requirements:

• An engineering degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Familiarity with petrochemical processes, particularly Acrylates, Syn Gas, and Butanol processes.
