Job summary

The right candidate will have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, CMRP certification, and at least two years of experience in reliability engineering.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-years’ experience.
  • Any Reliability & Maintenance training or certification Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt preferred.

An exciting opportunity is available in AMICTOHO TITANIUM METAL Company for Engineer, Reliability Based in Yanbu.

About the role:

Mechanical/Electrical reliability engineer is responsible for guiding efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of assets. The engineer champions the implementation of reliability best practices and evaluates new technology and new ideas to continuously improve reliability of the plant’s assets.

You will be responsible for:

  • Develop deep understanding of company, products, customers, goals, and business strategy; evaluate systems and processes; and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conceptualize and develop solutions based on project requirements and company standards by using simulations/modelling to support expansions and changes.
  • Develop and implement processes that improve production and deliver quality outputs by securing and managing service providers, inspectors, and other technical resources.
  • Meet company’s quality standards by maintaining knowledge of relevant technologies and best practices and by adhering to national and local regulations.
  • Manage the execution and timely completion of projects by analysing scope and determining specifications, establishing test methods for product investigations, analysing test programs for adequacy and sequence, examining samples for compliance with requirements, and preparing reports.
  • Formulate plans with detailed calculations, drawings, diagrams, project specifications, and budget estimates, and interpret precast reinforcement shop drawings, civil grading plans, and structural drawings.
  • Maintain system functionality through rigorous testing, identify ways to improve efficiency and productivity, and generate maintenance and support activities for all existing solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends and implement appropriate methods for keeping production on the cutting edge, while meeting financial goals and generating cost savings.
  • Utilize software programs for preparing technical specifications, user documentation, presentations, and results tracking.
  • Build professional skills through continued training, education, and networking events.
  • Develop engineering solutions for chronic equipment reliability problems and work with engineering, operation, and maintenance to implement solutions.
  • Provide authority technical expertise and lead the troubleshooting activity whenever called upon to resolve complex problems and issues related to Electrical assets.
  • Owns bad actor management process, carryout analysis and take appropriate action to eliminate recurring failures.
  • Ability to develop/review assets maintenance strategy.
  • Lead or participate in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) study and failure investigations.
  • Develop, monitor & present KPI’s for asset’s & prepare monthly reports.
  • Participates in reliability methodologies like RCM FMEA for assets.
  • Participate and support in development & evaluation of Management of Change related to assets.
  • Recognize and clearly define opportunities for cost effective and sustainable engineering improvements and provide technical evaluation including alternative solutions.
  • Familiar with SAP plant maintenance module, has the capabilities to extract data, analyse, calculate MTTR and MTBF.
  • Familiar with asset performance management software “Meridium”.
  • Ability to perform asset criticality assessment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Equivalent.
  • CMRP – Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional
  • ISO 55001:2014 Asset Management System
  • Any Reliability & Maintenance training or certification Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-years’ experience

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Reliability-related software (e.g., SAP, Meridiam, RCA software).
  • Attention to detail and structured work approach.
  • Fluency in English language with excellent communication (written & oral) skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
