Job Purpose: This position exists to plan, control, and monitor the execution of electrical project tasks efficiently, timely, and according to quality standards to achieve departmental operational plans and development goals.


Key Accountability Areas:

  • Perform erection, testing, and commissioning of Power/Distribution transformers at site and factory.
  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing of transformers.
  • Inspect transformers upon arrival and perform necessary tests.
  • Check the availability of all accessories for transformers.
  • Monitor impact recorders and collect data from them.
  • Coordinate with crane operators and other equipment for transformer assembly/disassembly.
  • Conduct routine electrical tests of transformers in factory and at site as per international standards.
  • Perform low voltage electrical tests at the site.
  • Plan daily site activities for timely completion.
  • Oversee erection of transformer accessories, vacuuming, oil filtration following quality procedures.
  • Conduct in-process testing during repair/manufacturing stages.
  • Coordinate with marketing, planning, and customers for work permits and gate passes.
  • Ensure best practices in testing Power and Distribution transformers.

Role Accountability:

  • HR Proficiency: Train subordinates, provide leadership, delegate tasks, and motivate teams.
  • Delivery: Meet operational and development targets within schedule and budget, and report progress.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems.
  • Quality: Maintain quality standards in processes and products.
  • Business Process Improvement: Follow policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
  • Compliance: Adhere to policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure safety, quality, and environmental procedures are followed.

Academic Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering


Work Experience: Fresher - 0-2 years
